I heard there is a bypass planned to divert the highway traffic around Valleyview to avoid the traffic lights. Is this true? If so, when is that planned for? Where would the bypass start and connect back to the highway?

Nothing firm yet on the books.... Here is the most recent local article on the topic: link The major focus for the Ministry of Transportation is the completion of the four laning of the highway to Alberta. Our Minister of Transportation, Todd Stone lives in Juniper Heights by the way! Probably fair to say he would know ;)
